Post-traumatic stress brings on images that haunt you like a ghost in the day, and insidiously attack you in your dreams at night. Triggers are everywhere like a mine field. Being attacked every hour of the day makes it seem like recovery is impossible.

This song was written as the sorry that all victims wish they could get from the person who hurt them, but few seldom do. Hearing the word ‘sorry’ acts as a starting point for letting go of the hurt and moving forward. One word can help the images begin to fade, and so I sang the word that I desperately wished to hear…Sorry.
