This song is about emotions below the surface and how the world fills our eyes with images that push and pull our emotions. We are all looking into each other's eyes to find love and to fullfil our dreams. Those same eyes are filled with tears at times when we struggle.

The synth part came 1st and represents deep emotions. Then guitars, bass, drums built bridges into the light. Vocal effect for verse emotions, clear for chorus awareness. The piano backdrop evolved later and unlocked haunting vocals.
